Pair your phone or laptop with the TV

Pair your phone or PC once with Lounjy on the TV; after that you play on the TV from your phone.

Before you start

Lounjy is on the TV and on your phone or PC, both are on the same Wi-Fi network, and Lounjy is open on the TV.

Pair

  1. On the TV: Settings → Receive from phone or laptop → Pair a device.
  2. On your phone: tap the cast icon (Play on TV) and choose the TV.
  3. Both screens show six digits. Do they match? Choose Pair on both.

Done: from now on your phone connects without a code. You'll find the cast icon in the player, next to Play on a movie or series, and in Live TV by the preview.

Digits don't match?

Choose Decline on the TV. Another device on your network may be trying to pair.

Quicker with the QR code (Android)

  1. Scan the QR code on the TV with your phone's camera.
  2. In Lounjy, choose Pair, only if you see that QR code on your own TV.

TV not in the list? Enter the address

  1. On the TV, open Pair a device. Under Or enter this address: you'll see an IP address and a port.
  2. On your phone, choose Enter address.
  3. Fill in IP address and Port and choose Connect. Then compare the digits.

Unpair

  • On the TV: Settings → Receive from phone or laptop → choose the device under Paired devices → Unpair.
  • On your phone: choose Forget next to the TV in the list.

You can pair up to ten devices with one TV.

Laptop or tablet connected to the TV

Set Settings → Receive from phone or laptop → Visible to phone and laptop to On there; on a TV it's already on. Does Windows ask for permission? Choose Private networks only.
