Cast to Lounjy on the TV
Put a channel or movie on the TV from your phone or PC, and use your phone as the remote.
Before you start
Your phone is paired with the TV, and Lounjy is open on the TV (or start it from your phone).
Play on the TV
- Tap the cast icon (Play on TV).
- Choose the TV with Lounjy · control it like on the TV.
The TV plays and your phone shows the controls. The TV fetches the channel itself, with its own login details.
Controls
- Live: zapping, the previous channel, the channel list and channel numbers; Start over and Back to live when possible.
- Movies and series: timeline, Back 10 s and Forward 30 s.
- Audio and subtitles: via Picture and sound.
- Android: your phone's volume buttons control the TV; pause and stop are also on the lock screen.
- Windows: space, arrow keys, PgUp/PgDn, number keys and media keys work as in the player.
Press Back and the TV keeps playing, with a mini bar at the bottom. Tap it to open the controls again.
Stop
Choose Stop, then:
- Stop on the TV, or
- Keep playing on the TV: your phone lets go and you carry on with the TV's remote.
The TV doesn't have your playlist
Lounjy then asks what you want:
- Add playlist to the TV (recommended): choose Allow on the TV. The TV fetches the channels and then starts by itself.
- Play just this once: the TV stores nothing. You zap on your phone, which is slower.
Note
The TV can't take over a playlist from a file this way; put it on the TV with a link or Xtream Codes. If the TV already has another playlist, a second one is part of Lounjy Plus, which is coming soon.
VPN
Is Only play via VPN on on the TV? Then turn on a VPN on the TV too. Your phone's VPN doesn't count here.
